Hi, my name is John McCormick. I'm a lifelong resident and have been into photographing Michigan's beautiful scenery for over 30 years. It's humbling to have my photography displayed around the country in peoples homes, public spaces, corporate offices, websites, and many printed publications. Michigan is a beautiful place to live and photography is my absolute passion. Nowhere in the United States will you find an area that more reflects the dramatic seasonal changes, beautiful winters, and a colorful Autumn and spring.

This region is beautifully diversified with forests and rivers, large wetlands , rocky ridges, sand dunes, and Great Lakes shorelines. And topping all of that with over 100 lighthouses, makes Michigan more than any photographer could ask for.
